The Scenic Sidewalk: A Catalog of Street Art

This photograph was taken in Paris, May 2007, on the Rue des Archives in the Marais. Our hotel was just a block away from where I found this drawing. We walked down that street so many times, out to breakfast and back again, to lunch, to dinner, for drinks. A homeless man had built a cardboard shelter in the arched doorway of a municipal building. One afternoon we walked by and this drawing had appeared on the wall of his shelter.
